Each handmade chasen is crafted from a single piece of natural bamboo, finely split into delicate bristles.

With its higher number of prongs, this whisk is perfect for creating a smooth and frothy matcha.
While a standard whisk usually has around 70 prongs, this 100-prong style features approximately 81–95.
The more prongs it has, the finer the foam it produces—making it easier to use even for beginners.

How to use: Before whisking, soak the chasen briefly in hot water to soften the bamboo and let the bristles open. This helps bring out the natural smoothness of the tea while whisking the matcha powder into a light, creamy froth.

Pair it with a Bizen-yaki matcha bowl for the ultimate tea experience.
