Our story
We fell in love with Japan more than three decades ago. Our trips to Japan are filled with endless cups of green tea, shared meals with the artisans, and the joy of exploring new designs straight from their kilns. Many of the makers we work with today are the next generation of the same families we partnered with years ago.
We travel directly to the heart of Central Japan, where the finest clay is found, and source our products from the local kilns. The tableware we bring to you is unique. The kind that are often seen only in the homes and restaurants near the kilns.
For us, relationships matter. Trust and family are important in Japanese business, and it’s those strong relationships that allow us to continue bringing authentic Japanese ceramics to homes around the world.
