Medium Bowl 16cm / Sage Green Glaze

Featuring a moss green gloss with rich brown undertones. The glaze runs over a pattern of concentric circles. No two pieces are the same due to the firing technique used by the Futa kiln.

The Futa kiln is situated in the foot hills of the alpine region of Gifu prefecture. Focussing on simple shapes and traditional glazes at affordable prices their products are perfect for everyday use. 

Slight irregularities in size, glaze and texture reflect the artisan nature of the product and are embraced.

General information & care instructions

Our tableware is food safe and can, with some care, be used in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Sudden changes in temperature (eg. from freezer to oven) are likely to cause thermal shock, which will damage your item. Always place very hot items onto either wood or cloth.
